Hi I'm Emma

I am fortunate to have an incredible, diverse network of open, supportive, compassionate, and interesting individuals who value conversation, respect difference, seek to understand, appreciate challenge and are naturally interested and curious about… anything and everything!

I also reflect that these people are in my life through choice – mine and theirs – and that we are all heavily influenced by so much… not least those we invite into our lives and form close connections with.

My career includes 30+ years of working for sole traders, small businesses and large organisations within complex systems, for both public and private sectors, employed and self-employed. Personal and professional development is a lifelong practise for me, and while an MSc in Professional Development, Certified Coaching and Mentoring qualification, and maintaining Chartered status with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health for 15 years are the highlights of my formal training, my success has always been about listening, connecting, collaborating, and relationships. I had the benefit of receiving coaching over 20 years ago which I have engaged in ever since. Coaching and mentoring has enabling me to traverse transitions in life that continually present opportunities for growth, development, changes and transformations, and which I became adept at enabling others to engage in for themselves.

Having had the courage to be guided by and aligned with my values has enabled me to appreciate how different we all are, how we always have choice (even though we may not like the choices available to us), and that being honest with ourselves can be truly confronting, not to mention a wonderful invitation explore ‘being authentic’ and to consider what it takes to act with integrity at every opportunity.

While the testimonials provided by those I have worked with speak for themselves, I highlight that I unreservedly ‘walk the talk’… When we prioritise self-accountability, we can define our own success at any given time.

In addition to being fully qualified, a member of the Association of Coaching and Chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety I am also fully insured to coach, mentor, facilitate, train and to provide consultancy.

Choice, Courage, Curiosity, Creativity, and Compassion

Living our values is a conscious choice. Creating awareness as to what these are for each of us, what we make them mean, learning how to remain aligned, and bringing awareness to what will test our commitment to living our values is heavily linked to how we personally define success.

The impact of feeling compromised, threatened, anxious, or stuck is an indicator that ‘something’ is out of alignment. We may experience ‘warning indicators’ through our gut, head, or heart…

Integrity is often thought of as being our word to others, this is however only part of having integrity… before we can be our word to others – we must be in alignment with ourselves. This starts with understanding what our ‘non negotiables’ are… and what ‘success’ looks like for each of us.
